Text Banking (SMS)

A great option for those without internet-enabled devices, use SMS to send texts with a few easy-to-use commands, and you’ll have access to balances and transaction history. You’ll also be able to make payments by phone.

Make sure you are enrolled for online banking.

  1. Visit https://m.mobilecu.org/HERITAGEWESTCU
  2. Login with your credentials
  3. Select option 7- SMS Settings
  4. Select option 1- Add a mobile number
  5. Follow the instructions to completion activation of your phone

Some mobile providers may block short codes. If you don’t receive the activation code, please call your mobile provider and ask them to allow text messages from short code 86020.

Below are the commands to use:

  • B to fetch all account balances
  • H to fetch the five most recent transactions for all accounts
  • H acct (e.g. H SO1) to fetch the five most recent transactions for a specific account
  • HELP to fetch list of available commands
  • MENU to fetch the list of available command options
  • STOP to deactivate SMS mobile banking

e-Alerts

Send yourself reminders through email or text about your account(s). Follow the steps below to add eAlerts:

  1. Sign into Online Banking
  2. Select "Personal Settings"
  3. Click on "Alerts"
  4. Select "Alerts Listing"
  5. “Under Current Alert” settings, select edit for “Email Address on file” and “Mobile Details on File”
  6. Input your email address
  7. For text messages, select "Add Additional Mobiles"
  8. Enter your phone number, provider, and click submit
  9. Select all of the items you wish to receive alerts for and you’re all set!
